Urban Cuckoo appears at Stockbridge Market

Urban Cuckoo took a stall at Stockbridge Market, Edinburgh on Sunday 9th February.  As it is quite a ‘foodie’ market we showcased our new range of aprons and tea towels from designer Victoria Eggs, these included the ‘Scottish Dinner Apron‘ with vintage-inspired typography listing our favourite Scottish meals such as haggis, neeps and tatties, stovies, scotch pie, square sausage and clootie dumpling! We also took along the lovely ‘Green Fingered Apron’ and ‘Grey BBQ Apron’ (all with matching tea towels) by the same designer.  As it was the weekend before Valentines Day we also brought along a selection of prints and pillowcases, many of which have love-themed designs, such as the ‘You Look Amazing’ print, the ‘Life is beautiful when I’m with you’ print and the ‘LOVEly pillowcases which have gorgeous sentiments and make a really thoughtful and unusual gift for Valentines. Despite the lashing rain, our products were a great hit and were well received by the discerning shoppers of Stockbridge. Hopefully, the next time we exhibit our wares, the weather will be a bit kinder to us and the sun will shine!
